Mexico Ministry Cross Necklaces

Each cross is approximately 2 ¼” wide and 1 ¼” with more than 20 genuine Swarovski Crystals, a 20” satin cord and a toggle clasp.  Because they are handmade, each necklace is truly unique.   Some examples of the semi -precious stones used include freshwater pearls, turquoise, jade, howlite, quartz, aventurine, hematite, jasper, agate, and malachite.  Each one-of-kind necklace comes in an organza bag with the story of the ministry.

The Ministry:
South of the Border in Nuevo Laredo, a small group of ladies gather in their church to make crafts, laugh and prayer to support each other. Poverty does not begin to describe life in these ‘colonias’, but with homes provided by a church in the Dallas area they finally have hope. The families are lucky if they can earn $60 a week and some months they must choose to make their land payment of $50 or eat. That is why these necklaces truly change lives!

Each cross is full of a mother’s hope and the comfort that she can help her family. Each bead is a whispered prayer of LOVE….for you….for giving them hope.
